Employers -Here to support you

We help you resolve workplace issues as quickly, cheaply and painlessly as possible.

Whether you are faced with issues of misconduct or poor performance, need to make redundancies or have received a Tribunal Claim notification (ET1 Form), we will be able to help and support you.

Our starting point is always to understand the outcome you want to achieve. For most business clients it means resolving a workplace issue as quickly, cheaply and painlessly as possible. Outcomes we repeatedly achieve for our business clients.

We will give commercially sensible solutions to your problem, then help achieve them. We will not be prescriptive in our advice nor leave you unsupported if you do not want to follow our advice.

Because we offer legal advice to both employees and employers, we understand the issues and arguments from both sides. This allows us to use our knowledge of what an employee will be thinking/advised, which is a huge asset that we can use to your advantage.

Legal advice for employers

We add most value when dealing with difficult / managed exits. We can help map out the options and devise tactics to achieve your preferred outcome.

We regularly advise on writing contractsstaff handbooks and employment policies. If you are faced with contract breaches, disciplinary issues or grievances, we can help with those too.

We also offer guidance on issues such as whistleblowing and sickness. And if dismissal is the outcome, we can provide expert assistance with managing dismissalsredundancies, exit packages and settlement agreements.

Fixed-fee advice for employers

We offer a range of fixed-fee employment law support packages. This allows you to benefit from unlimited employment law advice from your own dedicated employment law solicitor.

The services usually commence with us updating your contracts of employment and staff handbook. Your dedicated employment law solicitor is then on hand to remotely advise you on HR issues as they arise. The service will include us drafting letters/emails for you as well as drafting and negotiating settlement agreements.

We can also offer insurance against the cost of employment tribunals and train your mangers on HR topics to build their knowledge and confidence.
