Last Friday 7 November, we hosted the Springhouse Employment Briefing 2014 in Woking with keynote speaker Vince Cable, MP for Twickenham and Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills.

The Springhouse Employment Briefing 2014 was supported by the Woking Chamber of Commerce and Woking Borough Council with Ray Morgan, CEO and The Mayor of Woking, Tony Branagan as special guests. The event saw over 100 members of Woking’s business community gather to hear the keynote speech from Dr Cable.

Vince Cable spoke about the thought processes behind much of the employment legislation he has been responsible for. He also took a number of questions, and much of the discussion that followed dealt with the engineering industry in Woking, and encouraging equal opportunities in the workplace.

We’d like to thank everyone who came along to the Springhouse Employment Briefing last week, and are delighted at the turn out. We’re very proud to have been involved in such a fantastic gathering for Woking businesses.
