In preparation for the Olympic Games, which will run from 27th July to 12th August 2012, employers in London are being encouraged to communicate with their staff to plan ahead and mitigate any disruption. Recommendations include:

  • Encouraging staff to take annual leave over the Olympic period.
  • Operating flexible working hours.
  • Encouraging staff to use alternative transport (such as walking or cycling).
  • Considering allowing staff to work from home.
