New employment laws in force from 25th June

Changes to Employment Law in June 2013.

The first in a long list of changes to employment laws come into effect on 25th June 2013.

Alongside some technical provisions, the following are of most interest:

Further changes are due in the Summer and Autumn, including changes to compensation for unfair dismissal and the rules relating to compromise agreements and the discussions leading up to them.
