We handle legal disputes from beginning to end, without the need to involve barristers in Tribunals.  We will try to resolve complaints amicably, but will fight your corner, and have an excellent track record. We also have extensive trade union and industrial action experience.


Employment Tribunals

If you are on the receiving end of an Employment Tribunal claim, we have the expertise and experience to see the case through from beginning to end.  In the majority of cases we will either persuade the employee to withdraw their claim or settle on terms that are acceptable to you.  Should the case proceed to a hearing we will probably not need to involve the additional cost of barristers, as we are able to appear for you in the Employment Tribunal ourselves.  We can be tough when required and will do what it takes to fight your corner.

Trade Unions

We have experience helping employers with unionised work places, and have helped businesses deal with strike action and union recognition claims.

We can also deal with trade unions directly, where they are supporting a grievance or dispute, and where union consultation has been necessary.  We can help with:

Mediation

New ACAS rules put a heavy emphasis on workplace mediation as a way of dealing with grievances and potential Employment Tribunal claims.  We are able to provide a mediation service either directly or, if we are handling your case, through our associates. Mediation can neutralise difficult situations and stand you in good stead should an Employment Tribunal claim be brought.  In terms of our mediation services we aim to be:
